How the SAS UV technology works
SAS uses patented proprietary multi-frequency ultraviolet technology. The UV light acts as a catalyst, breaking ambient oxygen and water vapour into short-lived radicals that oxidize more complex contaminants in the air.
In the deck, Sol-Air explains that hydrogen sulfide and other air contaminants are rapidly broken down into harmless by-products such as CO2, water vapour, molecular oxygen, and elemental sulphur.
The wavelength frequency is described as specifically engineered to eliminate compounds and corrosive gases such as H2S, BTEX gases, ammonia, petrochemicals, NOx, methane, and mercaptans.
